Instructor Brandon

Brandon

Admin / Instructor

Brandon has been dancing for about 10 years in various styles, including Hip-Hop, Contemporary/Modern, Ballet, Jazz, Polynesian, and more. His love for dancing and music has always been a driving force in his life. Over the years, Brandon had the incredible opportunity to perform at venues, concerts, theaters, movie premieres, competitions, and even for Music artists. He loves performing and the opportunity it gives to express himself through the art of dance. Sharing his passion with others and connecting through movement has always been one of the most fulfilling aspects of his journey. His dance journey began in high school when he joined the Hip-Hop team his sophomore year where he started performing and competing. Not long after, he started teaching Hip-Hop to children during the summer at his local recreational center. As his passion for dance grew, he began taking classes in junior college, eventually changing his major to dance. At that time, he was training intensely, dancing approximately 6–10 hours a day. During this period, he joined a Hip-Hop fusion dance team and was also honored to be part of his college’s dance company. It was there that he delved deeper into formal training in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz, which further solidified his love and dedication to the art of dance. He later transferred to CSU Long Beach, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. It’s a joy for him to teach and share his love for dance with future generations.

Instructor Juliet

Juliet

Instructor

Juliet was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and is currently resided in Eagle Rock. She started dancing when she was 4 years old, taking ballet classes at a small studio in Silverlake. She continued her journey with dance, attending a dance focused middle school/highschool from 6th-9th grade. There, she focused on many styles of dance such as ballet, modern/contemporary, hip hop, salsa, and the exploration of dance styles in different cultures! From there she took a short break to study visual arts. In college, she started dancing again whenever she could, as it’s something that will always be in her body, heart and soul. She is so excited to be on teaching staff at Dance LA.

Instructor Chloe

Chloe

Instructor

Chloe has been in love with dance since the age of two! She has always been infatuated with the way dancers are able to move. Her parents put her in dance lessons as soon as possible and she soon became a competitive dancer! She did competitive dance for 16 years, captain of the same team/studio. Dance was and still is a place where she can let go and express herself without judgment. If she were having a hard day at school, she always knew everything would feel better after dance class. Her favorite styles of dance are Tap and HipHop! She is beyond grateful that she gets to provide an open space for all dancers!

Instructor Hana

She studied ballet and contemporary dance for 15 years, from her hometown of Morgan Hill, CA to her time at Sarah Lawrence College in New York. Her favorite performances included the annual rendition of the Nutcracker, Balanchine’s “Stars and Stripes”, and the various modern dance performances she had the opportunity to take part in around the San Francisco Bay Area while studying under Meghan Horowitz. In college, she trained in various codified modern dance techniques such as Horton and Graham. She is also a bonafide theater kid, and performed with local community theater groups since age 5!
